Top Private High Schools in Palm Beach County

Even though Palm Beach County has some exemplary public school options, some parents choose to enroll their children in private schools. There are almost 150 private schools in Palm Beach County serving more than 29,000 students.

When relocating to a new community, it’s important to make the right decision when evaluating your children’s education opportunities. Luckily, quality education is abundant in Palm Beach County. Below is a list of private education options for High School students in the Palm Beach County area.  


American Heritage School, Delray Beach FL


American Heritage School is nationally-recognized as a rigorous college preparatory day school with a technologically advanced campus. More than 60% of the faculty holds a post-graduate degree, the student to faculty ratio is 8:1, and every student uses an iPad in their daily studies. American Heritage ranks #1 in Palm Beach County for math, science, history, mock trial, and moot court competitions, and receiving large college scholarships for graduating seniors. Honors classes start in 2nd grade and over 200 courses are offered for high schoolers, including 50 fine arts classes, Pre-Law and Pre-Med college-level courses, and an equestrian program.


The Benjamin School, North Palm Beach FL


Benjamin School features a non-sectarian program for children pre-K3 through 12, and is notable for its 100 percent college acceptance rate and the lowest student/teacher ratio in any comparable program in Florida. Benjamin offers high level academics and unique programs such as a STEM program, TV Studio Broadcasting and Video Production. The school’s approach to education includes visual and performing arts as well as competitive athletics.


Cardinal Newman High School, West Palm Beach FL


Cardinal Newman is a Catholic school offering a well-rounded curriculum for grades 9 - 12. Grandview Preparatory School, Boca Raton FL


Grandview Prep is an independent, non-sectarian college preparation school offering pre-K3 through grade 12 education. The student to teacher ratio is 8:1, and more than 50 percent of faculty hold advanced degrees. Grandview offers AP and honors classes as well as dual enrollment in Florida Atlantic University and Palm Beach State College. Jupiter Christian School, Jupiter FL


Jupiter Christian School is a non-denominational, Christian-centered school offering pre-K through 12 education. Jupiter Christian offers a quality education from a biblical perspective, and focuses on producing students who use the abilities given by God. The school fosters an academically advanced curriculum with opportunities to compete in Math Olympics and the National Geography Bee. The upper school offers AP courses, dual enrollment at Palm Beach Atlantic University, and Honors classes as well as an Honors Diploma.


The King’s Academy, West Palm Beach FL


The King’s Academy is a Christian school offering an interdenominational education for students from pre-K through high school. In addition to challenging academics, King’s Academy offers an award-winning fine arts program in voice, theatre, dance and music, an academic support program for students with unique learning needs, a business program, a STEM studies track, and a well-defined writing plan for middle and high school students.
