The Comediannettes Playing At The Delray Beach Playhouse

Posted by Gerald Lombardo on Tuesday, April 30th, 2019 at 8:27am.

Some of Florida’s funniest comedians are coming to the Delray Beach Playhouse this Friday, May 3. The comedy troupe called “The Comediannettes” features Angela Nacca, Cindy Ann-Jane, Shana Manuel, Mariannette ‘LaPuppet,” and Opening Act, Kim Huapaya as they entertain you and your family.

This is an especially great event for mothers and daughters or granddaughters as all of the “Comediannettes” are women and they cover a variety of topics that other women would find entertaining.

Angela Nacca

Representing all the Moms, wives, working and menopausal woman of the world, Angela Nacca will keep you laughing, telling her stories of her 38-year marriage (without going to jail) her career in the medical profession to the trials of menopause. Born and raised in New Haven and then moving to West Palm Beach, Florida 17 years ago, Angela Nacca has been a hit in a multitude of venues, from the Improv’s in South Florida to Funny Bones in Hartford, CT to the J SPOT in LA. Angela has toured with the COMIC’S ROCK TOUR performing in Washington D.C., Virginia Beach and Staten Island.

Cindy Ann-Jane

From an early age, it was clear that Cindy-Ann Jane had the gift to make others laugh, whether at or with her remains unclear. In 2014, bored out of her wits and coming to grips with ‘empty nest’ syndrome, Cindy-Ann Jane decided to attend a stand-up comedy class at the renowned Improv Comedy Club in Fort Lauderdale. Since then, she has performed and hosted at venues throughout South Florida, New York City, Toronto and Trinidad and Tobago.

Shana Manuel

Criminal Defense Attorney by day, balancing her life scales by moonlighting as a comedian by night. Shana Manuel performs regularly with Comic Cure at the Mizner Park Comedy Club, and was the Winner of the 2016 Pride Comedy Festival.

Mariannette ‘LaPuppet”

Mariannette ‘LaPuppet’ is a Latina with a funny twist. Originally from Philadelphia, she brings the stage to life with her hilarious characters and animated storytelling about her upbringing, her mother and her life. She has been a Florida favorite now for over 25 years. She was a semi-finalist in the first Nick @ Nite’s search for ‘America’s Funniest Mom.’ Most recently, she was a finalist for ‘Florida’s Funniest Female’ and winner of the Seminole Casino’s yearly ‘Comedians Ball’. And, she has featured for legendary comedians like Dom Irrera, Jim Breuer and Paul Rodriguez.
