The Town of Palm Beach Gardens Green Market will be honoring all who served this Veteran’s Day with a dedicated green market Sunday, November 11, 2019.  The beautiful fall and winter climate here in South Florida are so agreeable, it summons a visit to the Gardens Green Market, 10500 North Military Trail, PBG, every Sunday 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM. The “Honoring All Who Served” event will be this weekend.

In 1919, President Wilson commemorated the first Veterans Day (then known as Armistice Day) with these words: “To us in America, the reflections of Armistice Day will be filled with solemn pride in the heroism of those who died in the country’s service and with gratitude for the victory, both because of the thing from which it has freed us and because of the opportunity it has given America to show her sympathy with peace and justice in the councils of the nations…”

On Sunday, November 4th 2018, over 2,000 veterans and supporters will march in the largest Veterans Day Parade in Palm Beach County.

“Our hometown Veterans Day Parade is a perfect way for the entire community to take a time out and come together to show respect and appreciation for the men and women who have given and continue to give their all to insure the freedoms we enjoy as citizens of the United States of America,” said Ron Bailey, Parade Co-Chair & Vietnam Veteran.

Held for the past 11 years in downtown West Palm Beach, the parade will begin at 2 pm at Rosemary and Clematis Street and will travel east to end at Flagler Drive. While the entire route has prime spots for viewing, the best can be found at the corner of Clematis and Dixie where MC
