The Palm Beach International Equestrian Center is anticipating 12 straight weeks of top equestrian competition beginning in January 2019. A competition sanctioned by the Fédération Equestre International (FEI), the highest level of jumping competitions in the sport, the Winter Equestrian Festival will run from January 9th through March 31st alongside top-rated hunter and equitation competition for many of the best riders in the world.

The Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) also brings a local favorite to Wellington and Palm Beach County residents with Saturday Night Lights evenings, which are free and open to the public. There are only a few days to go before the “Rip It” Fort Lauderdale Grand Prix arrives in the city and almost one hundred personal watercraft riders will take to the water close to the B Ocean Resort.

The Delray Beach Tennis Center is hosting the 29th annual Chris Evert/Raymond James Pro-Celebrity Tennis Classic on November 9-11th.

The event will benefit Chris Evert Charities in partnership with the Ounce of Prevention Fund of Florida and The Drug Abuse Foundation of Palm Beach County.

Last year, the eent brought in $800,000 for at-risk children; $24 million since its founding year.

Past celebrity players have included: Former President George H.W. Bush, Matthew Perry, Chevy Chase, Regis Philbin, Jon Lovitz, Brooke Shields, Chuck Norris, Stone Phillips, John Oates, Olivia Newton-John, Don Johnson, Dr. Phil, Gavin Rossdale, Dan Brown, Scott Foley, and many, many more.

 South Florida’s Palm Beach County is a slice of heaven where you can exercise outside, essentially, any time of year.  However, this time of year is almost too good to be true not to escape the gym and get outside. Nature is a perfect playground.

The YMCA has announced that Emmitt Smith will be the keynote speaker at the 10th Annual Prayer Breakfast this December.

Smith became NFL’s all-time leading rusher during his fifteen seasons as a professional football player during the 1990s and 2000s. He is a three-time Super Bowl Champion, and NFL Hall of Famer, and of course- winner of season 3 Dancing with the Stars.

The YMCA’s Prayer Breakfast is held annually to ignite inspiration within the community in support of the organization’s mission- to ensure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the ability to learn, grow, and thrive. The Y has a goal of never turning away an individual or family for needed programs or services because of their inability to pay.

The first annual Concorso Ferrari Palm Beach takes place this Saturday on the green of Abacoa Golf Club, where 60 historic, classic, and modern models of these rare Italian sports cars will be on display for the public.

Open to Ferrari Club of America members only, and limited to the first 60 Ferraris registered, this competition of sporty-yet-stunning supercars honors POST, the Pediatric Oncology Support Team headquartered at St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach.

The event is open to the public at no charge, and lunch is available for purchase at the Abacoa Golf Club Clubhouse. The Concorso field will open at 7:30 am and all cars must be in position no later than 9:00 am. The event closes at 2:55 pm with an awards presentation followed by
