The 4th Annual Charity Polo Fundraiser Match at the Grand Champions Polo Field, 13444 Southfields Road, Wellington to benefit a " Community Outreach Center " by Stand Together for Haiti Foundation on May 15th, 2021.  There will be an exciting polo match between the “Team Stand Together for Haiti” team against “Team Grand Champions Polo”.  When guests arrive, they will be greeted with authentic Haitian delicacies to tantalize their palate. This weekend, the Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium is hosting two Minor League Baseball games beginning tonight. The Roger Dean Stadium is located within Jupiter’s Downtown Abacoa and is home to a variety of entertainment, shopping, and restaurants.

The stadium is home to two Minor League Baseball Teams, the Jupiter Hammerheads, and the Palm Beach Cardinals. In addition, the stadium is also home to two Major League Teams during their Spring Training, the St. Louis Cardinals, and the Miami Marlins.

Registration is now open for the 10th Annual Run 4 The Sea. The 2021 Run 4 The Sea will be going virtual this year. The run is a 4-mile timed race and a kid’s 1-miler at any location of your choosing with proceeds benefiting the Loggerhead Marinelife Center.

The 10th Annual Run 4 The Sea is open to all walkers, runner, and hikers of all ages. The race is set to take place on the weekend of Saturday, June 19th. The race costs $40 dollars for adults and $20 dollars for kids. The price includes a sports style participant t-shirt, a custom finisher medal, and a race bib that will be mailed. Local participants can pick up their race packets at the Malted Barley in Juno Beach on Friday, June 18th from 4:30 pm to 7: 30 pm. Race results are uploaded and posted

Jupiter’s Abacoa is hosting their monthly Food Truck Invasion this Friday night in their Downtown Area. On select Friday nights, Food Trucks line up along Town Center Drive to offer some of their best and authentic dishes.

The Food Trucks come from all over South Florida and feature a variety of food ranging to tacos, burgers, pastries, ice cream, Asian, Italian, specialty dishes, Cuban, and much more. The popular Food Truck event happens of the second Friday of every month in Downtown Abacoa, and the event is very popular among the locals.

On Monday, The Club at Ibis in West Palm Beach announced that former tennis great Jay Berger will be the club's new Director of Athletics. 

Berger has had quite the resume over his professional career. In addition to being a top-10 player in the world during his time playing on the pro tennis tour, he has also served as the coach of the Davis Cup team and the U.S. Olympic team. Most recently, Berger served as the U.S. Tennis Association Player Development's head of men's tennis. He is also the father of PGA Tour pro and Jupiter resident Daniel Berger.

On Monday nights, the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum hosts their weekly Twilight Yoga at the Light. All are welcomed to come and enjoy the peace and serenity of Yoga with the incredible sunset views.

The class is outside and is taught by Mary Veal on the Lighthouse Deck. The class is open to all level of yoga and everyone is encouraged to attend. The class is $10 dollars and those who wish to participate in the class are asked to bring them own yoga mat and water bottle.

Its Kentucky Debry weekend, this Saturday, May 1st it is the 2021 Kentucky Debry held at Churchill Downs. This year marks the 147th year and the annual horse race is held in Louisville, Kentucky every spring. For many race fans, the Kentucky Debry is considered to be ‘The Greatest Two Minutes in Sports” and to some the greatest fashion event. At Churchill Downs men and women get dressed in their brightly colored pastels and large hats to watch the famous horse race.

Twenty thoroughbred horses will get a once in a lifetime opportunity to run in the 2021 Kentucky Debry. The thoroughbreds will race at a distance of one and a quarter mile around the track at Churchill Downs.

 The Andrew "Red" Harris Foundation is pleased to announce that the 2021 artificial reef project is about to begin with the deployment of the first of five 500-ton barge loads of huge 8' long concrete culverts offshore of the Jupiter inlet! This year's project benefits from Forterra's donation of 2500 culverts valued at $450,000 to the Andrew "Red" Harris Foundation. The culverts are presently being trucked and staged for loading on barges that will begin deploying a mile off the Jupiter inlet in the first week of May.
