Head to Jupiter or Tequesta for the 43rd Annual JTAA Jupiter Tequesta Christmas Parade. The holiday parade is rolling into town on Sunday, December 8th.

The annual parade is hosted by the JTAA Jupiter Tequesta Athletic Association. Every year the holiday parade is a certain theme and this year the theme is “A Cartoon Christmas”. The parade will be led by this year’s Grand Marshall Edna Runner. Edna is the Executive Director of the Edna W. Runner Tutorial Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of children by promoting education.

The parade will feature holiday music, holiday cheers, holiday floats, marching bands, live entertainment, Santa Claus and much more. The parade floats will be judged during the parade and there will be

There is a daily golf clinic offered every day at the Abacoa Golf Club 10 AM to 11 AM. The Instructors at the Abacoa Golf Club cover a variety of topics including Full Swing with Irons, Hybrids, Fairway Woods or Driver and Short Game skills including Putting, Chipping, Pitch Shots or Bunker Shots. 

The Sunday Game Improvement Clinic focuses on the variety of shots encountered in a typical round of golf.

Cost: $30 per clinic.

Open to ages 16 and above.

Meet at the bag drop 15 minutes prior to the start of the clinic.  We highly recommend that you SIGN-UP in advance, but we also welcome walk-ups on the day of the clinic. If for some reason you cannot attend please let the pro shop know by calling them at 561-622-0036

Originally built in 1963 for $400,000, the original North Palm Beach Country Club has since been demolished in lieu of a $19 million overhaul.

This Saturday, November 30th, Florida residents and visitors have the chance to fish without the need for a saltwater fishing license. If you’ve been wondering what all the buzz is about, but you haven’t had the chance to purchase your fishing license, grab pole and some tackle from one of the many local tackle shops in the area and give it a shot.

This day is part of eight total license-free fishing days the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission offers each year when anglers are not required to have a fishing license to participate.

Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum:
Since the lighthouse opened to the public in 1973, visitors and locals have been able to learn about the history of the area and the historic lighthouse. After checking out the museum and the lighthouse grounds, visitors are allowed to climb the 105 steps to the top of the lighthouse tower to see some of the best views in Palm Beach County. Riverbend Park in Jupiter is operated by the Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department and is located on Indiantown Road.

The park is a little over 665 acres and recently has undergone some renovations to improve the park. The new improvements this year are an observation area, outdoor picnic pavilion, new kayak launching stations, parking lot and more.

Riverbend is becoming the popular hotspot among the locals. The park has several rivers running through the middle including the Loxahatchee River, wildlife such as turkey and deer, biking and hiking trails, fishing in fresh water, picnic areas, kayak and canoe launches, equestrian trails, over 5 miles of waterways and much more.

Head to the Royal Poinciana Plaza on Saturday mornings for their Weekend Wellness Series. Every Saturday throughout the year, the luxury shopping and dining center in Palm Beach hosts different fitness classes outside.

Every week the fitness classes rotate and there is a different class or type of fitness every week. The fitness classes are free and take place in the Plaza’s west courtyard. In addition to the fitness classes, there is also special discounts on breakfast at Sant Ambroeus, 20% off at Celis Produce Juice Bar and Vitamin B12 and Vitamin D wellness shots done by MDBeauty Labs.

Okeeheelee Park is a premier place to ski and wakeboard in the Palm Beaches. Located just west of West Palm Beach Okeeheelee Park is a beautiful place to spend the day with your friends or family.

About Okeeheelee

The original site for the park was purchased in 1973, and at the time only about 10% (90 acres) of the area was in its natural state. It encompasses two lakes; with access for boating, fishing, water skiing, and radio-controlled boating, the park also has tennis courts, a playground, and a dog park called “Pooch Pines.”

At the north end of the park, situated on the original 90 acres of original natural habitat, is the Okeeheelee Nature Center consists of more than 2 miles of trails, which travel through the Pine Flatwoods habitat.

The 5th Annual Wounded Veterans Relief Fund 5k Run/Walk honors those who are serving and those who have served the United States. This 5k raises funds to help Florida veterans who find themselves on the verge of homelessness. The Wounded Veterans Relief Fund provides veterans with housing and transportation assistance, activities, and resources to help them find their new "normal". Their mission is to save lives and keep families together. 

Not only is this 5k for a great cause, but it winds through our beloved scenic Riverbend Park, along the Loxahatchee River, and through Battefield Park. T-shirts and finisher medals are guaranteed for the first 400 registrants.
