The Palm Beach International Boat Show is coming back to Palm Beach County. The popular and one of the biggest boat shows in the country will be in our area next weekend. 

The show features over $1.2 billion dollars’ worth of yachts and supplies including over eight hundred boats ranging in all different sizes, from 8 feet to over 100 feet in length. The Boat Show doesn’t just feature hundreds of boats and yachts, but also includes an Aqua Zone, Educational Seminars, a Science Center, Culinary Experiences and much more. 

Tickets are on sale now for the big weekend. Tickets include 1-Day Tickets, 2-Day Tickets, and VIP Tickets. There will be no box office at the event, tickets will need to be purchased in advance.

One of the most famous homes and landmarks on Palm Beach is open for tours. The Flagler Museum, once home to American Industrialist and founder of Standard Oil, Henry M Flagler, and his wife Mary, features more than 100,000 square feet and is filled with some of the most important history of the Gilded Age and Palm Beach. 

Flagler as a wedding gift to his wife Mary gifted the home to her. The elegant grand estate was commissioned by John Carrere and Thomas Hastings to design and build the estate. Hastings and Carrere were also famous architects for other US Landmarks such as the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City and the New York Public Library during the Gilded Age.

The annual Lake Worth Beach Street Painting Festival is back this weekend. The festival is the largest of its kind and draws thousands of visitors to Lake Worth Beach each year. 

The festival lasts until the first raindrop, the street painting festival turns the streets into beautiful and unique pieces of artwork. The Lake Worth Beach Street Painting Festival features temporary pieces in an open-air museum of art, sounds, and food. The festival is free to attend. 

Local and National artists create classic or 3-D masterpieces for viewers to come by and see. The drawings are done by using environmentally friendly chalk on both the streets and sidewalks. The festival features more than 600 artists from all over the world displaying their works of art

It’s that time of year again, baseball’s Spring Training is back and games begin this weekend in Palm Beach County. 

Two Major League Baseball Teams will call the Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter home for the next few weeks for Spring Training before the official start of the baseball season. The St. Louis Cardinals and the Miami Marlins have been practicing these past few weeks in Jupiter ahead of Spring Training. Both teams are looking forward to the upcoming season and hope to make it to the World Series.

The popular South Florida Garlic Fest returns this weekend in western Palm Beach County. The festival features all things garlic and is one of the best parties of the year. 

 The festival features garlic infused goodies, from seafoods to burgers and even ice cream. With over 100 garlic infused dishes there is something for everyone to enjoy.
