West Palm Beach has continued the tradition of their annual Holiday in Paradise event that features the famous Sandi the Christmas Tree made entirely of sand. Sandi the tree is the world’s only 35-foot, 700-ton sand tree with hundreds of lights and sculptures carved into the sand. The South Florida tradition stands in the center of Sandi Land.
Sandi the tree, will be on display in near the water downtown at Flagler Park and will have a nightly light display until December 31st. The tree was lit and kicked off the holiday season during the weekly Clematis by Night Tree Lighting on November 29th.
The themes for this year’s Sandi Tree is Merry the Mermaid and will feature tropical tree carvings and a fun filled tropical scene during the holidays.
In addition to the Sandi tree the Holiday in Paradise will feature other daily activities such as a sneak peak into the Sandi’s dressing room for photos, a whimsical SnowieVille where you can create your own snow angels and snowman or lady, Sandi Boutique and Mail, popular Glow in the dark mini golf, reindeer games and much more.
