ReelAbilities Film Festival…November 2 – 5, 2014

ReelAbilities, the nation’s largest film festival dedicated to stories of people with disabilities, makes its Palm Beach debut from Nov. 2-5 at the Mandel JCC in Palm Beach Gardens and will continue with presentations in various venues, including The Alpert Jewish Family and Children’s Service (AJFCS), Ruth and Norman Rales Jewish Family Service and Scripps Research Institute. The films concern a variety of issues and topics such as mental development, autism, wheelchair accessibility, Down syndrome and more.
ReelAbilities is the largest film festival in the nation committed to “promoting appreciation and awareness of the lives, stories and artistic expressions of people with various disabilities.” The festivals dedicated to promoting awareness of the life experiences of people with disabilities.
