In a heartfelt gesture of gratitude and remembrance, the City of Palm Beach Gardens is set to host a wreath ceremony to honor the brave service men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice on the battlefield. This event serves as a reminder of the profound debt of gratitude we owe to those who fought fearlessly to protect our freedoms.

On Monday, May 29, at 9:00 a.m., the Veterans Plaza Amphitheater, located at 10500 N. Military Trail in Palm Beach Gardens, will be the site of this ceremony. As a symbol of honor and respect, flags will be presented by the Palm Beach Gardens Police and Fire-Rescue Honor Guard.

Thousands of Palm Beach County residents will honor Martin Luther King, Jr. today, January 18, 2022. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a Baptist minister and social rights activist in the United States in the 1950s and 1960s. He was a leader of the American civil rights movement, encouraging equality. He organized peaceful protests as leader of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, including the March on Washington in 1963. Dr. King led the civil rights movement in the United States from the mid-1950s until his death by assassination in 1968. 

In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, multiple events are scheduled today.

The AustinBlu Foundation was formed in 2015, in the wake of a tragedy involving two young boaters from Jupiter, on July 24th, 2015. Austin Blu Stephanos was one of those boys and the namesake of this foundation.
