Once A Game for Kings- Now Enjoyed by the People of Palm Beach County

Polo is not only for royalty in Florida; actually polo has been a favorite pastime of local Floridians for years. The International Polo Club Palm Beach is located in Wellington, Florida. Wellington is recognized as the heart of horse county in South Florida, where the game of polo is thriving. Polo used to be practiced by kings but it now graces the Palm Beaches every year. The international polo season begins in early January and continues on until late April and into May. During the season you can come and enjoy the game as well as all of the events that surround it.

On polo Sundays, you can meet and greet socialites of Palm Beach County under the Nespresso Grande Pavilion. The pavilion is located field side and its complete with a DJ spinning great music that fills the air, large screen TVs showing the match, passed hors d'oeurves, full brunch on Sundays and complementary beverages including mimosas and more. Polo on Sundays is truly a unique event, guaranteeing you a fun time. The field is the Piaget Field and it is impeccably manicured, offering stadium seating with beautiful, grassy balconies, private boxes and bougainvillea gently swaying overhead. The International Polo Club greets you with a palm-lined drive in which passes the tennis courts, pool and the Mallet Grill. The pool features luxurious cabanas and cushy sun chairs perfect for enjoying the Florida sun after a day with the horses.
