Owning a boat can come with a lot of expensive fees. Luckily for us there are plenty of boat clubs that you can join to avoid the hassle and responsibility of owning a boat. For a membership fee you can access a boat’s club wide range of boats for every boating adventure.

Jupiter Pointe Club and Marina

Located in Tequesta, this marina has a wide variety of options from an annual membership to a limited plan where you can rent a boat for half a day. All new members are required to take a boating class prior to going out on the water. Jupiter Pointe is also home to the popular Blue Pointe Bar and Grill to grab a bite to eat before heading out on the water for the day.

Saturday mornings, join others and help keep our beautiful beaches clean. The Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach hosts a Self-Guided Beach Clean Up on Saturday mornings. 

No registration or payment is required to participate in the event. Simply just show up to the beach with gloves and a bucket and help keep our beaches clear from trash and debris. The Beach Clean Up happens at the beach near the Loggerhead Marinelife Center.

The Self-Guided Beach Clean Up has become such a popular event that the Loggerhead Marinelife Center has added it to their events calendar once a week. Helping to take part in keeping our beaches clean helps protect our beautiful blue ocean, intracoastal, and help to protect our marinelife.

With the summer weather fast approaching, getting out on the water is one of South Florida’s most popular outdoor activities. Since 2010, the State of Florida has required anyone born after January 1st, 1988, to obtain their Boater Safety Identification Card by taking an approved state course if they wish to get behind the wheel of a boat. 

Florida does not have a “boating license” but a Boating Safety Education Identification Card. The card is proof of a successful completion of the course and a pass on the exam.  The Identification Card is valid for life and no renewal fees or continuing education course is required once the course is completed and the exam is passed. The Juno Beach Fishing pier is a popular destination in northern Palm Beach County for locals and visitors. 

The fishing pier is a 990-foot-long T-shaped pier that offers great saltwater fishing. The Pier is home to a full-service Pier House that features a friendly Guest Service Team, bags of ice, snacks, drinks, various fishing gear, tackle, fishing poles available for rentals, and much more.

Every Saturday morning, the Loggerhead Marinelife Center partners with local organizations to help keep our beautiful beaches clean.

The Self-Guided Beach Clean Up requires no reservations or pre-requirements. Simply just show up with gloves and a bucket and begin. The Beach Clean Up happens on the beach near the Loggerhead Marinelife Center.

The Self-Guided Clean Up was added to their calendar every Saturday morning in 2020 due to its popularity. The weekly event asks for volunteers to help in doing our part to keep our beaches clean and to help protect our oceans and Marinelife.
