New Brewery Joins the Palm Beach County Craft Beer Scene

Posted by Amanda Hicks on Tuesday, July 31st, 2018 at 1:17pm.

Since 2011 the craft beer scene in Palm Beach County, as well as across the country, has absolutely taken off as beer connoisseurs venture to new locations to create unique tastes for locals. Prosperity Brewery is Boca Raton's newest brewery and the 16th in Palm Beach County.

Prosperity is located in East Boca in an industrial retail plaza near the beach. On one side you'll find the tap room and the other a lounge. There's a rustic charm to the place with wood panel walls, gray colors and trendy decor. The lounge has high tops, a couple couches and classic bar games like Giant Jenga, Cards Against Humanity and Chess.

There are 8 staple beers Prosperity brews and they change out another 12-15 taps daily. Some favorite home brews (also with clever names) include "Contraband" 6.6% ABV, a northeast IPA with Mosaic hops, the "Black Umbrella" 5.1% ABV, a black sour with boysenberry, "Pink Pigeons" 4.4% ABV, a Gose ale with pink sea salt, elderberry and cranberry, and the strong "Maple Hack" 9.2% ABV, a Russian imperial stout.

The brewery is a cool place to hang out and meet people. Since it opened 3 months ago, Prosperity has lived up to its name attracting beer-lovers from all over. Here's what some Yelp reviewers had to say:

"I genuinely enjoyed all of the beers I had there - especially the porter they had while I was there. It was smooth and really hit the spot. I look forward to seeing this place hopefully succeed." -Alyssa M. of Fort lauderdale

"The beertenders are super friendly and cool. They have great chemistry and help create good vibes throughout the brewery... The owners have done a great job with culling a team together that not only makes great beer but also serves it well." -Jeff N. of Lake Worth.

"Stopped in on a trip to visit family in Boca. I currently live in St. Pete which has a pretty robust craft beer scene. Last time I visited Boca,  I wasn't terribly impressed. But this place was stellar. Not a bad beer in the flight I had. Especially enjoyed the apricot saison they had on tap. And the fact that they even had a saison at all! 10/10 would recommend. They are pretty new and I'm hoping they do well so I can stop by again next time I'm in town!" -Ashley S. of St. Pete.

If you're in the mood to try something new, plan an evening to check out Palm Beach's newest brewery! Their hours are Monday-Friday 5-11 p.m., Saturday noon-11 p.m. and Sunday noon-9 p.m. See more about Prosperity on their website here
