Good news for college students in Palm Beach County, Palm Beach Atlantic University is planning on bringing staff, faculty, and students back to campus in August. The big questions going around for college students is whether they will resume in-person classes this fall semester.

Palm Beach Atlantic University announced on Thursday, May 28th from their West Palm Beach campus that they intend to bring students, staff, and faculty back to campus to resume classes in August. The school said in a written statement that they plan to continue to follow the CDC guidelines to safety return to teaching and residential living for the 2020 Fall semester.

The school said that extra sanitation stations and other protective measures are being installed throughout the campus and buildings to protect health and safety of everyone.

Palm Beach Atlantic University is a private university that was founded in 1968 in downtown West Palm Beach. Last fall, 2,153 students attended the university.

Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton will allow football players to return to campus starting next month. Players will be allowed back to campus starting June 8th as part of the school’s “phase in approach” and hopes to have the entire team back to campus by late June.  Florida Atlantic University has not made an official announcement about the fall 2020 semester as of now.
