Local Golfer to Represent Florida in State Team Championship

Palm Beach Gardens resident Tara Connelly will be part of the team representing Florida at next month’s US Women’s State Team Championship. The 2013 US Women’s State Team Championship will be held September 17-19 at NCR Country Club in Kettering, Ohio.
Connelly will be joined in Ohio by Meghan Stasi of Oakland Park and Ericka Schneider of Bradenton. This will not be the first time Connelly and Stasi are paired together. The two teamed up to win the 2013 Women’s International Four-Ball Championship. In addition to the four-ball championship, Tara was also a semi-finalist at the 2011 US Women’s Mid-Amatuer, a quarterfinalist at the 2013 D. Jones/Doherty Women’s Amateur Championship, and a runner up at the 2013 Women’s Amateur Stroke Play Championship.
