Fred Astaire Dance Studios are in cities throughout the United States and internationally. One is here locally in Wellington. The dance studios are required to maintain the highest standards of excellence through our International Dance Council and Fred Astaire Dance Studios curriculum certification.
With the opening of the first Fred Astaire Studio on Park Avenue in New York City, Fred Astaire brought his immense talent out of the glamour of Hollywood and onto the dance floors of America and the world.
Fred Astaire once said, “Some people seem to think that good dancers are born. All the good dancers I have known have been taught or trained. Enjoy a fun evening of show performances from students and professionals of the Fred Astaire Dance Studio (Wellington) to the most iconic movie soundtracks and walk the “red carpet” in your finest evening attire. It is sure to be a great time!
