Jupiter’s $150 million dollar waterfront entertainment and shopping complex, Harbourside Place, is not in distress.  Although one restaurant, the Deep Blu Seafood Grille, did not have the success, it hoped it would have had.  The space will be converted into “a spot for weddings and social functions”.  The idea seemingly makes more logic.  The Deep Blu Seafood Grille opened a year ago.

The 4,000 square foot restaurant closed and is in the process of being transformed into a social affair epicenter. The owner states that the space will be more profitable as a catering venue, than as a restaurant.  The Wyndham Grand Jupiter Hotel will manage the space for social affairs.

There are still plenty of restaurants in Harbourside Place to choose from as well as around town. Matt Boris, General Manager of the Wyndham Grand, states, “We do not have enough event space to meet the demand.”  There are only two public waterfront-catering venues with large enough function halls in the Northern Palm Beach County.  This waterfront-catering venue will very advantageous to be the residents of Jupiter/Tequesta and surrounding areas.

Harbourside Place has been quite controversial since opening in 2014.  It is a great destination for dining, shopping and indulgent hotel accommodations nestled along the Intracoastal Waterway.  In addition to the mouthwatering restaurants and boutique shopping, is a live entertainment amphitheater. Harbourside Place offers 21 private boat slips for lease as well as public marina and docking.

Enjoy live music on the waterfront July 29, 2016 at 6:00pm – 10:00pm.  Harbourside Place Amphitheater will be featuring music by Wonderama. Harbourside Place Amphitheater, 200 North U.S. Highway One, Jupiter, FL  33477.  The event is FREE.
