The Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach hosts a variety of calendar events daily and one of their most popular events is the Guided Turtle Walks. The Guided Turtle Walk is a unique program that allows visitors to learn and observe the nesting and egg laying process of Loggerhead Sea Turtles. 

The walks require approval from the state and during the event an experienced member of the Loggerhead Marinelife Center staff search the beach for sea turtle while visitors learn about the process at the center. Once the talks are complete and the sea turtles are spotted on the beach, guests are guided down to the beach to witness the process.

The Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach offers a unique program that allows the public to adopt a sea turtle from their sea turtle rehabilitation and research center. The Adaptation Program helps to benefit the continued care for sick and injured sea turtles. The program helps provide food, medications, hospital care, and tank maintenance required for their care while at the center. 

The beaches in our area are popular every March through October during the Sea Turtle Nesting Season. Along the 9.5 miles of sand, thousands of sea turtles lay their eggs in the sand making Juno Beach one of the most populated nesting areas in the world. The Loggerhead Marinelife Center hosts a variety of events every day.  The sea turtle research and rehabilitation center added Rescue to Release Virtual Theater Show every day that has become a popular event. 

The event is a virtual realty experience that allows visitors to follow a sea turtles journey from rescue to release back into the ocean. The narrated event uses virtual reality headsets that takes visitors through real action scenes of a sea turtle being rescued, through the hospital and rehabilitation process, and being released back into the ocean. 

The event costs $5 dollars per person and the event is recommended those 8 years old and up.
