Indoor Cycling in Boca Raton

Posted by Amanda Hicks on Tuesday, July 31st, 2018 at 8:55am.

Indoor cycling at a spin class is a great way to work out. It's like being a kid again, paddling as fast and hard as you can- only no more training wheels, and there's a coach yelling over loud music for you to try harder. Spin classes are not only super fun, but a great way to make friends and to be healthy. Boca Raton has two of the best cycling studios in the Palm beach County area- here's a little bit about them:

CycleBar

CycleBar is the best value studio around. The first class is free and the rest are $20. The cost includes clip in shoes and healthy snacks. Throughout the week there are classes with fun themes like Michael Jackson or 70s block party where you can cycle to the beat of your favorite music. Sometimes there are races to compete in too. The instructors will push you to do your best but they won't over do it.  There's a locker room for storage of personal belongings and your "cycle stats" are emailed to you after the workout so you can see rates per minute and calories burned.

Flywheels

Flywheels is more upscale than most studios with top-of-the-line stationary bikes and tough instructors. Their equipment is built to keep up with the pumping EDM music that'll have you pedaling as hard as you can. The classes are fun but pretty intense and you'll definitely feel a full-body burn afterward. The first class is $15 and the rest are $28. Flywheels has a point system for rewards- the more classes you go to the more points you rack up. This will get you some cool gear like sweatshirts and duffel bags.
