Holiday activities are starting to begin in Palm Beach County. With Thanksgiving behind us, the Downtown Palm Beach Gardens is preparing for their Holiday Light Show. The lifestyle and retail destination kicked off the holiday season with a daily Light Show that is set to the rhythm of classic holiday tunes along the waterfront.
The Holiday Light Show will take place starting Friday, November 27th through December 31st from 6 pm to 9 pm. The lifestyle and retail destination is hosting Christmas Carolers from 6 pm to 7:30 pm in the Centre Court. The Carolers will be singing holiday songs starting every Friday and Saturday night starting Saturday, November 28th through December 19th.
In addition, Downtown Palm Beach Gardens beginning Friday, December 4th, is giving away complimentary gingerbread decorating kits. The kits will include a link to a decorating class led by Nancy Marinoff, the instructor and owner of “What’s Cooking Kids?”. This year, the DIY fun will continue with New Year’s Eve Kits that will be available from December 26th through December 31st that will be stocked with arts and crafts, party hats, and noise makers to ring in the New Year.
Several local retailers located within Downtown Palm Beach Gardens are planning on joining in on the Holiday spirit with a tree-decorating contest for charity. Each business will donate a tree in partnership with a local non-profit. The community can browse through the decorated trees and vote for your favorite. The trees will be decorated until December 31st.
