The South Florida real estate market continues to garner national headlines as business expands into the condo market. For months, million-dillion single family home sales were surging and it seems like that surge has bled into the condo market in Palm Beach County.

According to appraiser Miller Samuel Inc., in the last month, signed contracts for condos worth at least $1 million jumped 300% from a year earlier. Palm Beach County has become a popular escape for the Northeast city residents that are seeking less congested area's during the pandemic. It has been quite the year for Jupiter resident golfers, and yet again, another local pro has found the winners circle. LPGA golfer Mel Reid took home the 2020 ShopRite LPGA Classic for her first ever win on the LPGA Tour. The victory gets Reid into the U.S. Women’s Open in December but next up is the third LPGA major of the year – the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship this week at Aronimink outside Philadelphia.

Reid joins a slew of other golfers from Jupiter, who have won their respective tours in 2020, including Dustin Johnson, Justin Thomas and Daniel Berger. Referred to as “Golf’s Hot Spot” in Golf Digest and the “Epicenter of Professional Golf” by GOLF.com, the sunny beachside town of Jupiter Florida is the place to live for today’s pro golfers.

It may be ready to break out the pumpkins and fall jackets in a lot of the U.S. but here in South Florida, our summer weather continues to roll on! Instead of hayrides and apple orchards, why not fire up the boat head out on water for a weekend at the Sandbar. Here are three of our favorites to consider:

Stuart/Hutchinson Island:

The Stuart sandbar is located just inside the St. Lucie Inlet, and just east of the convergence of the St. Lucie River and Indian River Lagoon. The closest boat ramp is Sandsprit Park. Palm City resident Jim Herman rode a hot putter to an unbelievable 124 (61-63) on the weekend to capture his third PGA TOUR victory at the Wyndam Championship in Greensboro, N.C. Herman, who said he planned on renting a car and driving down I-95 on Sunday night after the tournament, now heads to TPC Boston for the first leg of the PGA TOUR’s FedEx Cup Playoffs.

Herman jumped from 192nd to 54th with the victory and is now in great shape to advance even further. With the win, Herman now has as many wins over the past 13 months as fellow South Florida resident Rory McIlroy.

There are plenty of reasons why Herman, McIlroy and droves of other PGA TOUR players love to call Martin County and Palm Beach County home. When you combine the ideal year-round
