A brand new dining and market complex in Jupiter will have a familiar face backing the investment. Joe Namath, the famous Super Bowl winning quarterback of the New York Jets, and developer Charles Modica make up the power duo behind "Charlie and Joe's at Love Street". 

The new complex will feature three restaurants and a seafood market and is set to open in January of 2021. The site will be a "sprawling hospitality hub that’s unlike any establishment around the inlet and some of the best views of that majestic lighthouse." according to the Palm Beach Post. The distinguished "Top 100 Courses" list, released annually by Golf Digest, recently revealed that Juno Beach's Seminole was ranked as the 34th best golf course in the world. The world was able to see the unqiue beauty and distinct dynamic of Seminole this past summer during a Covid-19 relief match featuring Palm Beach County residents Rory McIlroy, Rickie Fowler and Dustin Johnson.

It has been quite the year for Jupiter resident golfers, and yet again, another local pro has found the winners circle. LPGA golfer Mel Reid took home the 2020 ShopRite LPGA Classic for her first ever win on the LPGA Tour. The victory gets Reid into the U.S. Women’s Open in December but next up is the third LPGA major of the year – the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship this week at Aronimink outside Philadelphia. 

Reid joins a slew of other golfers from Jupiter, who have won their respective tours in 2020, including Dustin Johnson, Justin Thomas and Daniel Berger. Referred to as “Golf’s Hot Spot” in Golf Digest and the “Epicenter of Professional Golf” by GOLF.com, the sunny beachside town of Jupiter Florida is the place to live for today’s pro golfers.

In support of local restaurants in Jupiter and Palm Beach Gardens, Villain Bike Boutique at Downtown Palm Beach Gardens will host a biweekly bike tour on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The 15-mile, three-hour ride leaves at 7:30 p.m. from Villain Bike Boutique, at 11701 Lake Victoria Gardens Avenue, Suite 3106. 

Riders will make up to three stops at local restaurants including Paddy Mac’s, Twisted Trunk, Das Biergarten, The Cooper, Salute Market, Rocco’s Taco’s, Voodoo Bayou and Scusi. The ride is free, and any food purchases are up to the rider.

Bikers may bring thier own bike and helmet or rent an electric bike from Villain at a discounted rate.

Break out the paint brushes or fire up your favorite digital art tool, ArtiGras Fine Arts Festival is looking for their 2021 commemorative poster artist. The annual arts show will take place on February 13-14, 2021 in downtown Abacoa.

The 2021 commemorative poster can be created using paint, photography, mixed media, digital art, drawing and printmaking. 

Artists are encouraged to integrate the ArtiGras theme of “The Love of Art” or the Palm Beach North region into their artwork.

The event, which also features an juried art exhibition, interactive exhibits, children’s activities and live music is entering its 36th year in Jupiter.

The Maltz Jupiter Theatre will undergo a $30 million expansion ahead of schedule, making th best of some time off during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

The goal of the expansion will be to create a creating a Broadway-scale stage so the Maltz can produce the next Broadway hit or national tour and that's really exciting because most regional theaters across the country do that for Broadway. The demolition of the building will begin sometime this month. The changes, expected to completley done by October 2021, will be very obvious as you drive by. On the corner of the building coming off Indiantown Road into the Maltz Jupiter Theatre, will be three stories of glass structure where you can see into the building and you will see the actors rehearsing on the top

Palm City resident Jim Herman rode a hot putter to an unbelievable 124 (61-63) on the weekend to capture his third PGA TOUR victory at the Wyndam Championship in Greensboro, N.C. Herman, who said he planned on renting a car and driving down I-95 on Sunday night after the tournament, now heads to TPC Boston for the first leg of the PGA TOUR’s FedEx Cup Playoffs. 

Herman jumped from 192nd to 54th with the victory and is now in great shape to advance even further. With the win, Herman now has as many wins over the past 13 months as fellow South Florida resident Rory McIlroy.

Collin Morikawa won the PGA Championship at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco on Sunday after an amazing display of ball striking and dropping big putt time and time again. However his shining moment came on the 16th tee on Sunday afternoon as he drove the driveable par 4, which many of the players in the field did over the week, but none better than Morrikawa, who bent a perfect cut around an over-hanging tree to around 10 feet for the go-ahead eagle putt.
