Everglades Day Festival On February 9th

The 2019 Everglades Day Festival is all about "Mother Nature’s Magic Show". This free, outdoor, family-friendly festival and eco-adventure, held at the Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge is dedicated to having fun while learning.

Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge
The Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge preserves a portion of the once vast northern Everglades. It provides habitat and protection for endangered wildlife such as the snail kite and the wood stork and the formerly endangered American alligator.
The main entrance and Visitor Center are located at: 10216 Lee Road. Boynton Beach, FL 33473. The main entrance is 2 miles south of Boynton Beach Boulevard, west off US 441/SR7.
The southern entrance, 6 miles west of the junction of Loxahatchee Road (US 827) and US 441, offers boat ramps, hiking trails, a bike trail and bank fishing.
The northern entrance, 11.4 miles west of the junction of Southern Blvd (US 98/SR 80) and US 441, offers a boat ramp and fishing platform.
