RAINY DAYS AND MONDAYS

DON’T GET US DOWN…

Perhaps, “Rainy days and Mondays” got the Carpenters down because they didn’t live in our area!  If the immensely popular brother and sister duo from the 1970’s had chosen South Florida, they might have found plenty of things to do on a rainy day, but they wouldn’t have had that Billboard Top 100 record and their fourth gold single!

If you’re not familiar with the duo The Carpenters, they were in great demand in the 1970’s.  Richard and Karen created a soft musical style that made them top selling artists when most contemporary music was hard hitting rock and roll.   They recorded 11 albums and television specials.

Maybe, if they had lived in our area the lyrics of “Rainy days and, Mondays” could have been don’t get us down!  In our South Florida area of Stuart, Jupiter, Singer Island, Juno Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, North Palm Beach, Hobe Sound, Weston, etc. there is so much to do!

Stuart is known as the “Sailfish Capital of the World”. It has a historic downtown district which features beautiful tree lined streets, art galleries, museum and theatre, dozens of boutiques, quaint cafes, and fabulous authentic Florida architecture.

Palm Beach Gardens is a city lush in greenery and an average temperature of 74 degrees.  It is situated, just an hour north of the international hot spot of Miami’s South Beach!   Palm Beach Gardens is also rich in traditions, expert day spas, excellent dining opportunities, and hosts the finest shopping in the area at The Gardens Mall with shops like Chanel, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Saks, Nordstrom, and many, many, more!

Singer Island is a 4 mile sanctuary of peace that stretches along the Atlantic Ocean on the east and the Intracoastal Waterway on the west.  It is a refuge of relaxation, whether watching the usual rays of sunlight or the occasional rainy day showers fall.

Either way, living in the picturesque tropical haven we call home, rainy days and Mondays, can’t get us down…it’s just to beautiful!
