August Events At The Jupiter Lighthouse

This month, the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is hosting several events for the whole family to enjoy.

Twilight Yoga at The Light: The class is led by Yoga Instructor Mary Veal and is open to all levels of Yoga. The class begins at sunset on the Lighthouse Deck and experience the serenity of Yoga while watching the sun set over the water. You are asked to bring your own yoga mat, a water bottle and a flashlight to the class. The cost is $10 dollars per person and the classes are weather dependent. The classes begin at 7 am on Monday’s and the dates at August 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th.

Lighthouse Story Time and Crafts for Kids: The event begins at 10:30 am on Tuesday, August 6th under the Lighthouse Seminole Chickee Hut for story time and craft activities. The event is aimed for children 8 years old and younger. You are asked to bring a small beach blanket or mat for your children for the event. The program is free and lasts approximately 45 minutes. Lighthouse Sunset Tour: Come and climb the 105 steps to the top of the Lighthouse to experience the sunset views overlooking Jupiter. During the tour, you’ll even get a sneak peak inside the Lighthouse Watch room to see how everything works. The tour is 75 minutes long and is $20 dollars per person or $15 dollars for Lighthouse Members. The Lighthouse Sunset Tours are held on Wednesday’s at 7:15 pm. The next Sunset Tours are August 7th, 14th, and 28th. Tickets are required to attend. Click here to view the calendar.

Lighthouse Moonrise Tour: Take in the spectacular views of the full moon from the top of the Lighthouse. The tours are 75 minutes long and cost $25 dollars per person or $20 dollars for Lighthouse Members. Tickets are required and can be purchased online.
