Palm Beach Island earned a luxury reputation during the Gilded Age when Industrialists and Inventors travelled to Palm Beach to vacation. Henry M. Flagler was an American Industrialist and founder of Standard Oil. Flagler built a mansion on the Intracoastal, which is now The Flagler Museum, for his wife Mary as a wedding gift. The mansion is now open to the public for tours. Flagler is known to have made Palm Beach, “America’s First Resort Destination”.

Sunday Yoga on the Waterfront:

Every Sunday morning at 9:30 am, a free Yoga class is taught at the Waterfront Amphitheater. The event is open to the public and all levels of Yoga are welcomed to attend. The free class is taught by Breathe Salt Yoga. Grab your yoga mat and water bottle and head to this Sunday morning’s Yoga class.

The popular Evening on Antique Row is back this Saturday, April 1st. The event is known to be the most fashionable street party in all South Florida. 

This Saturday, the streets of downtown West Palm Beach will transform into the ultimate street party with live music and entertainment, gourmet foods and cocktails, an antique appraisal tent, shopping, and much more.

Evening on Antique Row features antiques from the 17th through 20th centuries, decorative arts, fine art, design services, and more. The annual event is a signature fundraiser for the Historical Society of Palm Beach County.

This Saturday and Sunday morning you will have the opportunity to catch the sunrise from the top of the Jupiter Lighthouse. The famous red lighthouse in Jupiter is hosting their Sunrise Tours. 

Climb to the top of the Jupiter Lighthouse and catch the incredible sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean before starting your weekend off. The special Sunrise Tours will only be offered for a limited time, so get your tickets early. 

Tickets are $30 dollars per person or $25 dollars for children and Lighthouse members. Tickets can be purchased online here.

This Spring and Summer more than a dozen concerts are coming to the iThink Financial Amphitheater in West Palm Beach. Since opening more than 25 years ago, the popular outdoor music venue has hosted thousands of concerts and events for music goers in West Palm Beach. The outdoor venue has undergone some name changes in the past and is currently named the iThink Financial Amphitheater. 

The music venue is run by Live Nation, one of the world’s largest event and venue promoters and operators. The iThink Amphitheater in West Palm holds roughly 20,000 people both under the canopy as well as in the grass areas surrounding the stage. The venue offers great food and drinks for concert goers to enjoy while watching some of the biggest music stars

The popular Loggerhead Marinelife Center located on US 1 in Juno Beach hosts a daily Public Guided Tour for a chance for the public to get a sneak peek inside the facility.  

The Loggerhead Marinelife Center is a non-profit sea turtle research and rehabilitation center. The centers mission is to protect the oceans ecosystem and all that live in it. The Marinelife Center provides care to injured and endangered sea turtles before releasing them back into the ocean. 

The Public Guided Tours happen daily at 3pm. During the tour, visitors will get a look inside the facility and learn about the treatment and care provided to injured or endangered sea turtles. The tours cost $20 dollars per person and last about an hour. Registration is required and

This year, the March equinox happens today at 5:24 pm eastern standard time and the official Spring season kicks off. The Spring season lasts until June 21st, 2023. 

In the Northern Hemisphere or also called the March Equinox, occurs when the sun crosses the celestial equator going south to north. The celestial equator is an imaginary line in the sky above the Earth’s equator. In the Southern Hemisphere, today marks their first day of the Fall season.

The Palm Beach International Boat Show is coming back to Palm Beach County. The popular and one of the biggest boat shows in the country will be in our area next weekend. 

The show features over $1.2 billion dollars’ worth of yachts and supplies including over eight hundred boats ranging in all different sizes, from 8 feet to over 100 feet in length. The Boat Show doesn’t just feature hundreds of boats and yachts, but also includes an Aqua Zone, Educational Seminars, a Science Center, Culinary Experiences and much more. 

Tickets are on sale now for the big weekend. Tickets include 1-Day Tickets, 2-Day Tickets, and VIP Tickets. There will be no box office at the event, tickets will need to be purchased in advance.

One of the most famous homes and landmarks on Palm Beach is open for tours. The Flagler Museum, once home to American Industrialist and founder of Standard Oil, Henry M Flagler, and his wife Mary, features more than 100,000 square feet and is filled with some of the most important history of the Gilded Age and Palm Beach. 

Flagler as a wedding gift to his wife Mary gifted the home to her. The elegant grand estate was commissioned by John Carrere and Thomas Hastings to design and build the estate. Hastings and Carrere were also famous architects for other US Landmarks such as the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City and the New York Public Library during the Gilded Age.
