Saturday, July 3... gates open at 5 p.m. The game begins at 6 p.m. Dunedin Bluejays at Palm Beach Cardinals, tickets are $12 per person and can be purchased online from the stadium. Enjoy postgame fireworks, a mega kid’s area, and exclusive merchandise.

Ever wonder why Americans set off fireworks on the Fourth of July?  It is understood that the very first Independence Day celebration, held in Philadelphia on July 4, 1777, colonists were still at war against Britain.  Even though the country was still amidst the Revolutionary War against Britain, citizens came together to watch their new nation's sky illuminated in a grand display meant to raise spirits.

Fourth of July celebrations are back, and many cities plan to celebrate America’s birthday with parades, live music, food, and fireworks. Here are events across Boca Raton and Delray Beach to help you plan. 

Fireworks begin at 9:00 p.m. from various undisclosed venues.  Look into the night sky and watch the fireworks explode!

The Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens consist of the former residence of sculptor Ann Weaver Norton (1905 -1982), the widow of Ralph Hubbard Norton. The mission of the program is to provide art that complements public buildings, parks, and plaza. Located at the Palm Beach County Gardens Branch Library, 11303 Campus Drive in Palm Beach Gardens is "Garden Gate" by Garth Edwards.  Designed, fabricated, and installed by artist Garth Edwards, Garden Gate is inspired by Palm Beach Gardens' early vision of the town becoming a "Garden City". The Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium located in Jupiter’s Downtown Abacoa area is hosting two Minor League Baseball games this weekend. The first game begins tonight at 6:30 pm.

The Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium is home to two Minor League Baseball Teams, The Jupiter Hammerheads, and the Palm Beach Cardinals. During Spring Training, the local stadium is home to two Major League Baseball Teams, the Miami Marlins, and the St. Louis Cardinals beginning in February every year.

The refreshed downtown of Lake Worth has distinctive gems worth discovering.
