Every Saturday morning, volunteers head to the beach and participate in the Self-Guided Beach Clean Up hosted by the Loggerhead Marinelife Center. The Self-Guided Beach Clean-Up is a new program this year and has been added to their weekly calendar on Saturday mornings.

Head to the beach tomorrow morning and stop by the Marine Debris Sorting Station on the back deck of the Loggerhead Marinelife Center to pick up the beach up supplies. Once the supplies are picked up, volunteers can make their way down to the beach and help keep our beaches clean and the sea turtles safe. When finished, bring your bag back to the Loggerhead Marinelife Center Sorting Station and receive a free t-shirt for helping.

Art Festival: Arri’s Portal in the Port Salerno art district near Stuart will be hosting more than 30 vendors and local artists with homemade goods, crafts, art, décor, jewelry and more. This Saturday, September 19th at 10:00 AM, The Kennedy Space Center will host an Astronaut Training Experience for anyone ages 10 and older!

The Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach offers a unique program that allows you to Adopt a Sea Turtle. The program helps benefit the continuous care and treatment for the sick, endangered, and injured sea turtles.

The Loggerhead Marinelife Center is a non-profit sea turtle research, rehabilitation center and sea turtle hospital whose mission is aimed to protect the ocean and all that live in it. The Marinelife Center provides treatment and care for endangered and injured sea turtles before being released into the ocean.

The Adopt a Sea Turtle program offers six packages to choose from: the Basic Adoption Package, Fletch Adoption Package, Enhanced Adoption Package, Premium Adoption Package, Deluxe Adoption Package and the Adopt a Nest Package.

Space X is expected to launch today from the Space Coast. Space X is set to launch a Falcoln 9 rocket on Thursday, September 17th at 2:17 pm from the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida.

The Space X launch will be the 13th batch of Starlink Communication satellites atop its Falcon 9 rocket. Upon success of this mission, Space X will have close to 800 Starlink Communication satellites in the low-Earth orbit. This is a significant step as the aerospace company aims to begin public beta testing in North America for internet constellation later this year.

The ultimate goal of the mission is to have thousands of Starlinks providing internet connection to those living in rural and underserved communities around the world. This will also help

In support of local restaurants in Jupiter and Palm Beach Gardens, Villain Bike Boutique at Downtown Palm Beach Gardens will host a biweekly bike tour on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The 15-mile, three-hour ride leaves at 7:30 p.m. from Villain Bike Boutique, at 11701 Lake Victoria Gardens Avenue, Suite 3106. 

Riders will make up to three stops at local restaurants including Paddy Mac’s, Twisted Trunk, Das Biergarten, The Cooper, Salute Market, Rocco’s Taco’s, Voodoo Bayou and Scusi. The ride is free, and any food purchases are up to the rider.

Bikers may bring thier own bike and helmet or rent an electric bike from Villain at a discounted rate.

Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is hosting their popular Twilight Yoga at the Light. Every Monday night throughout the month of September, head to the iconic red lighthouse for a Yoga class.

The outdoor Yoga classis held on the Lighthouse Deck at sunset every Monday night. All levels of Yoga are welcomed and encouraged to attend. The class size is limited, and registration is required online to reserve your spot.

The class is taught by yoga instructor Mary Veal. If you plan on attending, you are asked to bring your own yoga mat and water bottle, and all those who attend must wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines. The Yoga class lasts approximately an hour.

Amazon is coming to the Gardens Mall. Beginning today, September 16th, Amazon customers can buy toys, books, kitchen gadgets, electronics and more at their new 4-Star store.

The giant online store is set to open its doors in the Gardens Mall for its first general merchandise store in Florida at 11 am. The store is located on the first floor near Nordstrom’s of the popular Palm Beach Gardens mall.

The new 4,500 square foot Amazon store will carry everything that received a 4-star rating or greater on their website. Products include everything from electronics, games, books, toys, home goods, kitchen items and much more. The store will also carry and serve as a platform for Amazon’s own tech devices including smart home devices such as Alexa and the

This September, several restaurants along PGA Boulevard in Palm Beach Gardens are offering special dining deals and specials for the entire month. The month-long event is called Savor September and the menu offer three-course meals for a certain price depending on each restaurant.

The idea was formed when the popular Favor Palm Beach dining event was cancelled this year and restaurants around the area wanted to give diners the opportunity to dine at their restaurants with special dining deals and promotions. Downtown Abacoa in Jupiter is hosting a similar event this September called Dine the Drive. Last month, Delray Beach celebrated their Restaurant month for the entire month of August.
