This month, the Loggerhead Marinelife Center is hosting two Sea Turtle Sleepovers.

The Sea Turtle Sleepover is an exclusive over night event held at the Marinelife Center. The popular event features a tour of the Sea Turtle Hospital, games, activities, scavenger hunts, tours of the aquariums, an ocean themed movie, pizza, snacks and much more. Those who attend are welcomed to bring their own drinks and snacks, the center asks that they are in reusable containers and bottles.

The sleepover is for children ages 8 through 12 years old. This is a drop-off only event and parents and chaperones are invited to stay the night and participate in all activities during the night.

You must register to attend due to limited space. The cost is $65 dollars per child.

Jupiter’s newest waterfront event venue is now open for Sunday Brunch during the summer. The Pelican Club located on the Jupiter Inlet across the water from the Jupiter Lighthouse is offering Sunday Brunch starting June 23rd through the end of the summer from 10 am to 2 pm.

Come and enjoy the coastal brunch featuring traditional breakfast buffet, sea to table cuisine, made to order pancakes, eggs benedict, waffles, French toast and much more. The giant brunch is $ 60 dollars per person and includes bottomless mimosas for two hours. Children 12 years old and younger are half price. Smart casual or proper attire dress is required for the Sunday Brunch. Reservations can be made by calling 561-693-5063.

Every Friday night during the summer, the Downtown at the Gardens hosts their Outdoor Summer Concert Series for everyone to come and enjoy.

The lineup includes local and regional bands and great live tribute bands playing everything from pop, country, reggae, rock n’ roll, blues, and much more.

The outdoor concerts are free and all are welcomed to attend. The concerts occur every Friday starting at 7 pm until 10 pm from June until the end of August.

The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is hosting their reoccurring Hike Through History this Saturday, July 6th.

The hike includes a 2- mile journey through the 120 acres of the Lighthouse Natural Conservation Area to learn about the nature and history of the historic site and the lighthouse. The site is just one of three natural sites in the United States. The natural site is protected by the Bureau of Land Management’s National Conversation Land Programs.

The hike is this Saturday starting at 8:30 am at the Lighthouse and will meet at the Flagpole. The program is open to all and children must be 5 years old to participate. Those under 13 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Proper footwear, active wear, a hat and a water bottle are suggested

Friday, July 5th:

Junior Marinelife Biologist Summer Camp: the interactive summer camp is aimed for children ages 6 through 17 years old. The program is educational and those who attend will gain an understanding on marine biology and ecology. The camp is from 9 am to 4 pm, click here to register.

Public Guide Tours: The tours are offered 7 days a week and includes a tour of the sea turtle research and rehabilitation center. The tour starts at 2 pm and last an hour, click here to register.

The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is hosting their Climb and Paddle event this Friday, July 5th.

The event starts at 9:30 am with a climb the 105 steps to the top of the Jupiter Lighthouse. Following the climb to the top, the Jupiter Outdoor Center will guide those who attend to the paddle boards and kayaks for a trip on the water of the Intracoastal and Jupiter Inlet. During the event, manatees, sea turtles, and other marine and wile life have been frequently spotted along the way.

The tour begins at the Jupiter Lighthouse and personal paddle boards and kayaks are not permitted. Check in begins 15 minutes prior to the start time and those who wish to paddle board, paddling begins an hour after the start time.

Peanut Island is an 80-acre tropical island is located directly inside Palm Beach Inlet. If you’re looking for some fun in the sun this Fourth of July, here are a few ways you can set a foot on this social little island.

If you have a boat, you have a few options. The boat docks on east and west sides of the island have free daily slips you can tie up to on a first-come first-serve basis. The other option is to follow the channel markers to the west side of the island and pull up on the beach. The beach around the island is the best choice for families as you’re further from boat traffic and there are restrooms and medics on the island. Dogs must be on a leash.
