Join the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse’s staff on a 2-mile trek through the 120-acres of outstanding natural area and discover that history is indeed shaped by nature.

The hike is open to adults and children-minimum age 5, ages 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult that is at least 18 years old.  Hiker’s footwear, active wear, a hat, and a full water bottle or canteen should be carried, tour is weather dependent. If you’d like to go on the hike plan on meeting at the Museum’s flag pole on Saturday, February 2nd, at 8:30AM

The streets of Mizner Park will once again be filled with a tremendous selection of art from across the country as the Boca Raton Museum of Art presents its 33rd Annual Museum Art Festival. One-of-a-kind art will be available for purchase including painting, sculptures, jewelry, fiber art, photography, ceramics, pottery, wood art, mixed media, graphic design, crafts, and art glass.  

All of the festivals proceeds help support the Museum’s educational programs for children and youth. Admission is complimentary and free parking is available in the garages at Mizner Park.

South Florida’s biggest and best annual Polka party will be happening this Saturday, February 2nd, in West Palm Beach. The event is free and it goes from 12:00PM to 6:00PM, outside, in the street, in front of the West Palm Beach Brewery & Wine Vault, which is located on 332 Evernia Street.  Join The Polka King himself, Jan Lewan, and the Alex Meixner Orchestra for a day of polka music.

 The husband-and-wife team behind the popular Yakitori Sake House in Boca Raton have opened a much bigger restaurant just a few miles away. Tina Wang and Jason Zheng held the grand opening for Saiko-i Sushi Lounge & Hibachi in late 2018.

Saiko-I is located in The Shoppes at Village Pointe  and comes with very reputable history.  The corner location was home to the very popular Gatsby’s Bar for more than 20 years. Now Jason and Tina are making their own history at Saiko-i.  This over 7,000 square foot space has 11 Hibachi tables, a sushi lounge, seafood bar, indoor/outdoor bar and quaint patio! The restaurant has a beautiful ambience and the food is quite delicious.

Palm Beach Gardens will be getting a new restaurant this fall. The restaurant is globally inspired with Indian roots and will be taking over the former space of Carmine’s Crab Shack on PGA Boulevard. The former Carmine’s Crab Shack closed it doors in 2017.

The modern small plate spot, Stage, is by the acclaimed Miami Chef Pushkar Marathe. Chef Marathe has partnered with the popular Buccan restaurant in Palm Beach general Manager to open Stage this upcoming fall. It’s the final week for the South Florida Fair in Palm Beach County before moving up to Martin County for the Martin County Fair starting February 8th.

The Martin County Fair Association is the single largest fair and event held in Martin County. The event draws more than 70,000 people from across the Treasure Coast for a few days of great food, fair games, rides, parades, fun entertainment, live music, a kid’s zone, and much more. The purpose of the fair is to promote the community’s talents, tradition, diversity, visions and to entertain.
