Flamingo Park: Many homes in the historic Flamingo Park area in West Palm Beach decorate their homes and lawns with thousands of bright cheerful lights for the holiday. Calling all concert goers! Live Nation, the largest entertainment protomer and concert venue operator has announced a new Lawn Pass ticket for the 2019 Season. Live Nation operates The Coral Sky Amphitheatre at the South Florida Fair Grounds in West Palm Beach.

The Amphitheatre is an open-air venue featuring some of the biggest events and musical stars. The venue seats about 20,000 people under the pavilion and in the lawn area.

In 2019, there are 32 plus Coral Sky concerts planned and you can have a ticket to everyone. Live Nation announced a 2019 Season Unlimited Lawn Pass, that went on sale on Tuesday, December 4th and will be available through Tuesday, December 18th, or while supplies last.

The Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach is releasing Gavin the sea turtle back into the ocean this week. 

The large sub-adult loggerhead turtle was found in the intracoastal near Dubois Park in Jupiter with a hook attached to his skin near his front right flipper. The initial tests showed that the turtle suffered from starvation and anemia. The Marinelife staff administered vitamins, fluids and antibiotics to the injured sea turtle and nursed Gavin backed to health. The turtle will be fitted for a satellite transmitter to follow his movements after his release back into the ocean, along with other turtles that were previously release.

The release will be this Thursday, December 13th starting at 10:30 am with pre-release procedures. The release

Family Fun Day

The Lakeside Family Fun Day is set to happen on Saturday, Dec. 15 on Lake Wellington, located behind the Wellington Community Center (12150 W. Forest Hill Blvd.). The event will feature a variety of free activities for the entire family to enjoy between the hours of 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., including kayaking, paddle boarding, a bounce house, a rock wall, glitter tattoos, lawn games, fishing, Plaster Time Crafts and more. Try goat yoga between 9 a.m. and noon and take photos with Santa between 10 a.m. and noon.

The Sunset Tour offers an inside look at the inner workings of the Jupiter Lighthouse. It is a great place, and a perfect time of year, to take in the spectacular sunset views and witness the Jupiter Light turning on to illuminate the night sky.

The Jupiter Lighthouse, or “Jupiter Inlet Light,” is a beloved South Florida landmark located in Jupiter, on the north side of the Inlet. The site was chosen in 1853 (it was completed in 1860) because it sits between the Cape Canaveral and Hillsboro Inlet Lighthouses.

The Jupiter Lighthouse stands at 108 feet tall and was designed and built by George Meade. There’s a lot to do at the lighthouse and although the light is still actively used to help boaters navigate the waters of the Jupiter Inlet, it is also

There will be a guided nature walk at Jonathan Dickinson State Park this Friday from 2 – 3:30pm. The tour will be suitable for anyone who is at least moderately physically fit and able to hike through the scrubby flatwoods and river floodplain for around 90-minutes. The walk may go through muddy or wet terrain.

Christmas With The Chimps

Lion Country Safari is a cageless zoo experience in West Palm Beach.
