The buzzy downtown West Palm favorite, the Avocado Grill, is opening a second location Downtown at the Gardens.

The new bistro features a vibrant bar scene integrated with a large, chic dining room. The eatery has a modern, industrial look with blonde woods, rustic lighting, and incorporated art like their avocado tree sculpture made out of wood that is also wrapped with seating. 

The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating on a nice patio. This location is larger than the other, totaling 4,200 square feet. This location will also be unveiling a lunch menu and a weekend brunch menu. However, dinner will still be the only thing being served for the next few weeks of opening.

A Loggerhead sea turtle named Kraken will be released back into the Atlantic Ocean tomorrow after a brief stay at Gumbo Limbo Nature Center.

Kraken will be sent off with a satellite transmitter attached to her shell so her voyage at sea can be tracked. 

Join the nature center for the release tomorrow at Spanish River Park in Boca Raton at 4:30 p.m. prompt. Parking feed will be waved starting at 4 p.m.

Back again for the 12th year, is the Jupiter Craft Brewers Festival at the Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter.

The festival is this upcoming Saturday, January 27th from 1 pm to 5 pm. Guests attending the festival will be able to sample some of the finest brews in the nation and throughout South Florida, and be able to experience the continuously changing world of craft beers.

Every Tuesday, Dr. Paul A. Brown, M.D. gives free one-hour lectures to seniors with topics varying each week in a four-part cycle. Dr. Brown is a Harvard graduate, established doctor, and accomplished author. His newest four week class starts this Tuesday, January 23rd.

Is learning another language something you'd like to do? Try joining the West Palm Beach conversation group that meets weekly to practice the Italian language with local Italians. 

Every Saturday, the Multilingual Language and Culture Society meets for two hours to practice and improve Italian. Classes are $40 and are held at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels.

Join Due South Brewing Company in Boynton Beach for Trench Day, the annual beer festival held every January to celebrate the release the brewery's Mariana Trench Imperial Stout. Theaward-winning beer is made with vanilla and cocoa and is 10% alcohol by volume.

The Richard and Pat Johnson Palm Beach County History Museum is filled with everything Florida. In the Historic Courtroom Gallery, you'll find pictures and posters at exhibitions that feature work from Florida photographers, film makers, and more. 

The current exhibit in the Historic Courtroom is called "Visions of Florida: Clyde Butcher," and displays images of Florida nature by one of the best landscape photographers in the country, Clyde Butcher. On the third Thursday of every month, Arts Garage, a growingly popular art gallery in Delray Beach, hosts a free art stroll.
