If you have been to other 5K runs and loved them, then you will not want to miss the Boo Run! You will join the Fleet Feet Group of Delray Beach, a social group of local runners who meet for a 3-mile run once a month. Their normal meetings take place on the last Wednesday of every month but this month with Halloween around the corner they have decided to make it a festivity! Dress up in your favorite costume and make sure to stretch for this fun run.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks are a huge network of creating awareness for the nation.

The walk can gather many passionate participants and members that share the same willpower to finish the battle against breast cancer and raise funds together for the “American Cancer Society to fund groundbreaking breast cancer research; provide free, comprehensive information and support to those touched by breast cancer; and help people take steps to reduce their breast cancer risk or find it early when it is most treatable.”

The event starting in 1993 and the walk have constantly attracted thousands up to millions of supporters who are walking for a cure at the events held in many different states. The progress Make Strides supporters are making

Take a glance at the sky this Sunday afternoon for an incredible sight above Miami Beach. A colorful display of kites will fly high at the 23rd Annual Kitetober Fest.

This will be the largest kiting event to happen in Florida. Hundreds of different kites will go up in the air at Haulover Park from 12pm – 5pm. A 100-foot flying squid, a 30-foot flying scuba diver, a 30-foot flying Nemo fish and a 300 square foot parafoil will share the sky with an array of vibrant kites!

This free event will provide fun for the whole family! There will be demonstrations from longtime kite enthusiasts, paper kite building classes and kite-flying competitions for both adults and kids. People can make kites at the event, purchase kites or bring their own.
