Happy 53rd birthday, Delray Affair!

Delray Beach, Florida will rejoice in its 53rd year of the Delray Affair, locally nicknamed “Greatest Show under the Sun,” is the largest arts and crafts festival in the Southeast.

The friendly festival is intended to expand as long as 12 city blocks lining the palm trees from the grounds of Delray Beach Center for the Arts and Old School Square Park to the sparkling Intracoastal waterways. Representing over 800+ vendors will be featuring their works along with great food and awesome live music!

Dustin Johnson has had a good go of things lately.

He sold his house on the Loxahatchee River and boght a new waterfront house on the Intracoastal in the new Frenchman's Harbour community in North Palm Beach. He and his fiance Paulina welcomed their first child back in January, a son named Tatum. Johnson also went out and won the WGC-Cadillac Championsip at Doral, the second stop in the Florida swing. He then came back this weekend and managed a T6 finish at the Valero Texas Open despite having back luck with weather the first two days being in the early-late draw at TPC San Antonio.

EQUESTRIAN SHOW JUMPING

“The Longines Global Champions Tour brings together the Top 30 ranked show jumpers in the world to compete in prestigious locations for unprecedented prize money.” In Miami Beach, Florida there is always some type of “horsing around,” but this happening will be highlighting the finest four legged jumpers universal!

On the electric location on America’s East Coast, Miami Beach will be hosting the first competition for The 2015 Longines Global Champions Tour which has transformed in the world of international show jumping. The venue will literally be on the sands at Collins Park.

Tiger Woods might not be playing golf right now on the PGA Tour, but he is sure keeping himself busy with golf off the course.

According to a report on golf.com, Woods has been selected to redesign a golf course in Beijing, China. The course will become a flagship in a group of a dozen or so private clubs that will provide members access to all the courses in that group.

This will be Tiger's first foray into the Asian market, and the report goes on to say that the deal is a lucrative one, paying him almost $17 million for the two-course deal.

One more shot at the South Florida “winter” is projected to swift through the weekend. A cool front will be pushing in while bringing in breezy conditions. These are ideal conditions for our beauitful Sailfish, for those willing to take on the rougher conditions.

Sailfish could be traveling around the Palm Beach and Jupiter Inlet within 100-300 feet of water. Dolphin should be cruising around the same depths as the sails and in really nice sizes too.
