Divosta Homes has proposed a 350 home community with office and retail space west of I-95 in Jupiter. Lakewood Development, a proposed community on 260 acres along West Indiantown Road across from Jupiter Country Club, will comes before the Jupiter Town Council on August 8.
The proposal calls for a 150,000 square foot research facility, a 6,000 square foot restaurant, convenience store and 20-pump gas station. Original plans submitted to the Jupiter Town Council also reflected a 100-room hotel, but it is no longer in DiVosta Homes plan.
The parcel of land is one of the last large, undeveloped parcels in Jupiter. The Lakewood project, is now on what is referred to as Parcel 19, was purchased by Jupiter 19
