The “Sunshine State” consistently remains a top pick in many of the “best states to retire in” lists.  South Florida offers endless opportunities from upscale beachfront city living, to leisure riverfront. Choose from Atlantic Ocean deep sea fishing charters or lazy days paddling on a kayak through Jonathon Dickinson State Park or endless days of golf or sunning at the beach.  

Market Watch of the Wall Street Journal named Florida as the seventh best state for retirement.  The reasons it remains high on the list:  There is no income tax!  In addition, there is good property tax protection for full time residents against increases. `

More than 1600 students a year are touched each year by the ART COUNCIL of MARTIN COUNTY.  They provide a wide variety of programs that benefit the community through the arts.  The Council believes that educating the youth of the community about art is vitally important to their creativity and thusly strengthening their leadership skills and aiding their academic development. 

The ART COUNCIL also teams up with Martin Memorial Hospital and encourages of the advantages of art helping heal hearts, minds, and bodies.  They have assisted Alzheimer’s patients, along with arts therapists, in the adult care program.

Sign up now for the PALM BEACHES MARATHON & RUN FEST.  $20.00 from your marathon race entry will be donated to Hurricane Sandy Relief and Recovery Efforts.  You must register between November 4th and November 30th for a portion of your race entry fee to be donated to Hurricane Sandy Relief and Recovery Efforts. 


Mark your calendars for Sunday, December 2, 2012.  Start time is 6:30a.m.  The 2011 marathon winner finished the race in approximately 2 hours and 46 minutes (2:46:06 )!  A seven-hour time limit is placed on the marathon for safety and timely reopening of streets along the Flagler Drive waterfront and Palm Beach.  Early starts are prohibited and they will be eliminated.   Enjoy a beautiful day running along the waterfront and know you

Waterfront Properties and Club Communities is pleased to announce its connection with the November Juvenile Diabetes Awareness Month campaign.   In an effort to raise awareness and inform you of some common symptoms that may be warning signs of Type 1 Diabetes.
