With 47 miles of beachfront, you can go snorkeling in the Palm Beaches year-round. Here are some of our favorite spots.

Phil Foster Park

Constructed as a part of Palm Beach County’s Environmental Resources Management’s Artificial Reef Program, Phil Foster Park was completed in August of 2013. The park is an 800-foot-long tract of artificial reef incorporates more than 600 tons of Anastasia rock boulders. Loosely strung together in easily accessible depths ranging from six to ten feet. Snorkelers will encounter a variety of species of fish, from colorful tropical-like angelfish and parrotfish to reef dwellers like snapper, grunts, and grouper. The results are in; Das Beer Garden offers the most diverse variety of craft beer in Palm Beach County.

America has seen an enormous boom in the craft beer market, with beer enthusiasts demanding more complex and tantalizing varieties than the previously dominant light lagers. As recently as 2012, the duopoly of Anheuser-Busch InBev and MillerCoors controlled nearly 90 percent of beer production.

In the last decade, independent breweries have expanded by a factor of six, and while Americans are actually drinking less beer than they did in the 2000s, they’re often opting for a superior product, like one of the 100+ beers available daily at Das Beer Garden in Jupiter’s Downtown Abacoa.

Craft breweries have focused on tastes that were

The Florida “cold snap” this weekend has lows in the 60’s rolling through, producing ideal conditions for sailfish cruising through. Kitefish with goggle eyes in 120-250’ of water, and after your first sail, target a tighter area around that depth. A few dolphin are still in the equation off Palm Beach Inlet, but no strong numbers seem to be showing up.

The snapper bite has been solid lately, with large muttons and yellowtail congregating on the reef. Live ballyhoo, sardines, or midsized pinfish work great.

Inshore fishing has slowed down quite a bit, with Snook and redfish becoming finicky to the tide. You’ll have to feel out each spot for what tide works best, and keep a close eye on it once you figure it out.

It’s no secret that Palm Beach County is an ideal locale to reconnect with a loved one. It is a pretty spectacular setting for romance and family bonding time. The warmer days and cooler evening temperatures make for time with your loved one.  Everything from a waterfront dinner al fresco, perhaps U-Tiki, or the stereotypical long walk on the beach in the moonlight can create sparks. Stunning ocean views are the perfect backdrop to fall in love.

The romantic couple or family bonding moments can take place outdoors. Share something memorable. Keeping in mind that everyone’s idea of romance or family bonding is different. Quality time doesn’t have to be glitzy! Although it’s very nice, perhaps try something minimalistic like everything Palm Beach has to

Known as a worldwide fishing destination with Thursday night sunset celebrations, Sailfish Marina Resort has expanded its footprint with an outdoor tiki bar.

Welcomed by regulars who usually sip on libations at one of the two indoor bars, the tiki bar has created a separate retreat from the busy dining area on the south end of the expansive property. In true South Florida fashion, the bar embraces an island vibe with tiki torches, Adirondack chairs, wood-burned fish designs, and enough margarita machines to keep Jimmy Buffet at the dock.

The new outdoor tiki bar serves a full drink and food menu, and is sure to be a new hot spot for Northern Palm Beach locals, as well as visitors in the fishing and yachting community.

South Florida is a great place to live if you enjoy the outdoors. Everyone knows about our miles and miles of beaches and palm trees, but many don’t realize that South Florida also have some beautiful state parks. Here are two of our favorite state parks in South Florida.

John D. MacArthur Beach State Park

John D. MacArthur Beach State Park in North Palm Beach boasts tangles of mangrove swamps, trails that meander through canopies of trees, and a vast walkway that traverses a lagoon – never mind almost two miles of unspoiled beach on the Atlantic Ocean.

Nestled on a barrier island, this is the only Florida state park in Palm Beach County. It also offers swimming, fishing, educational programs, special events, kayak rentals, and exceptional
