Why And Where You Should Go Running In Northern Palm Beach County

When it comes to exercising in northern Palm Beach County, there are plenty of options to choose from.  Gyms, surfing, martial arts, paddle boarding, running or walking the beach are invigorating options. If running is your thing, there are so many trails to choose from.  We know the same daily run can get tedious. If you’re an avid runner and want to get away from it all, try going off the beaten track

Joggers delight in the fabulous year-round weather, and picturesque settings. Living in the Town of Jupiter permits for runs with ocean views, as well as scenic natural area preserves.

Get away from the daily monotony and get lost in thought running in Jupiter’s well-known Riverbend Park.  Riverbend Park presents nearly 10 miles of rugged ground.  It’s as if Old Florida comes to life before your eyes.  You’ll find yourself running alongside the Loxahatchee River and by the historic Loxahatchee Battlefield.  When you need to catch your breath for a moment, take a moment to view the native wildlife or pop into the Cracker Farmstead.

There’s also Carlin Park, a one-and-a-half-mile trail with views of the ocean. If you need a break, stop at one of the various heart stations and stretch or just catch your breath and cool down.

Another option for runners is the Jupiter-Indiantown Trail.  You will likely share the trail with bicyclers and even equestrians. As with many places in Jupiter, it too is beautiful with a natural setting and historic charm.

Visit the Jupiter Running Trails site for many more options and suggestions. The possibilities are endless.  Regardless of whether you want to run like a professional athlete or just get in a short jog, expand your running limits. You will find plenty of opportunities to get out and go for a run in Jupiter.
