 There is a daily golf clinic offered every day at the Abacoa Golf Club 10 AM to 11 AM. The Instructors at the Abacoa Golf Club cover and can teach you a variety of topics including Full Swing with Irons, Hybrids, Fairway Woods or Driver and Short Game skills including Putting, Chipping, Pitch Shots or Bunker Shots. 

The Sunday Game Improvement Clinic focuses on the variety of shots encountered in a typical round of golf.

Cost: $30 per clinic.

Open to ages 16 and above.

Meet at the bag drop 15 minutes prior to the start of the clinic.  We highly recommend that you SIGN-UP in advance, but we also welcome walk-ups on the day of the clinic. If for some reason you cannot attend please let the pro shop know by calling them at 561-622-0036

Golf Pro Ronnie Dunayer is now offering adult golf lessons for all skill levels on the 2nd Friday of every month at The Delray Beach Golf Club. Let Ronnie help you design a lesson program based on your learning style and your own goals.

Cost: $20 per one-hour clinic; $80 for a series of 5

Palm Beach Gardens resident and long-time veteran of the golf community Suzy Whaley has added another achievement to her extensive resume; she is officially the first woman ever elected to serve as an Officer of the PGA of America. PGA Master Professional Suzy Whaley was elected as the 41st President of the PGA of America at the Association’s 102nd Annual Meeting on November 9th, 2018. 

This title certainly doesn’t come as a surprise from PGA President Whaley, as she most recently served two years as Vice President, and two years as PGA Secretary. She is also the PGA Owner of Suzy Whaley Golf, and the PGA Director of Instruction at the Country Club of Mirasol in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The American Cancer Society has announced that professional golfer Jack Nicklaus, known as the “Golden Bear”, will be hosting the organization’s 50th Annual 19th Hole Club fundraiser this November.

The American Cancer Society’s 19th Hole Club was founded 50 years ago by Nicklaus, Bob Hope, and Perry Como to help raise crucial funds to fight cancer.

Since its inaugural event in 1968, more than 80 PGA and LPGA TOUR players have hosted the affair. It has since evolved from an exhibition match in the 1960s, to a luncheon and golf clinic in the 1980s, to what is not a social soiree with an open bar, refined chef-prepared food, a glow-in-the-dark putting contest, a chipping contest, and a silent auction.
