This weekend the streets of Lake Worth will transform into the Lake Worth Street Painting Festival this Saturday and Sunday.
The artwork only lasts until the next raindrop. The street paintings turn the roads into hand drawn artwork. The festival features temporary masterpieces in an open-air museum of art, sound and aromatic segments.
The festival is the largest of its kind in the country and draws a huge crowd every year. The artists create a classic or 3-D masterpiece for viewers to come by and see. The drawings are done by using environmentally friendly chalk on both the sidewalks and street.
